PRODUCT DETAILS

Standard EN 10305 covers steel precision tubes. The standard includes delivery conditions for six different parts. Part 1 or EN 10305-1 refers to seamless cold drawn precision tubes. These precision tubes are specially marked with the letter E, so they are manufactured to standards and hold tight tolerances, making them ideal for use as machine parts. This is because the precision steel tube en 10305-1 is the same as the system to be connected.

Power Steering Applications
The EN 10305 European Standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for seamless cold-drawn pipes of circular cross-section for hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The allowable pressure rates and temperatures are the responsibility of the customer according to the safety factors specified in the latest technical and application regulations, codes or standards.

Pipes complying with this EN 10305 European standard are characterized by precisely defined dimensional tolerances and specified surface roughness.

EN 10305 Seamless precision tubes shall be cold drawn from hot worked seamless tubes. Other suitable cold working methods are permitted. The tube shall be delivered in delivery condition +N, which means that after the final cold drawing operation, the tube is normalized in a controlled atmosphere.

NBK refers to protective heat treatment in a non-oxidizing environment to make the surface of the pipe bright and smooth.
